Our Mission
We exist to help practitioners improve how work gets done. Our focus is simple: create spaces where people can learn, experiment, and grow through community, coaching, and real-world experience.
We believe that better work is possible — and that practitioners deserve access to practical, human-centered learning that meets them where they are.
Our Story
Founded by Ray Arell, nuAgility emerged from decades of high-stakes engineering leadership and a realization that traditional "command and control" models were failing practitioners. Ray saw a gap between academic theory and the messy, complex reality of organizational change.
Transitioning from leading massive engineering teams at Fortune 100 companies, Ray recognized that the real engine of change wasn't just process—it was the people doing the work. He envisioned a model that was overly focused on the latest framework but built capability through a self-sustaining ecosystem of practitioners.
Today, nuAgility stands as a bridge between high-level agility strategies and the practical, day-to-day needs of team leads, coaches, managers, and executives who are redefining the future of work.
"We don't need more frameworks. We need more empowered practitioners who know how to navigate complexity with human skills and intelligence."
